The beauty of online education is that it takes full advantage of all available technologies. As the world and its products change, online programs progress as well. For instance, newer technologies such as pod casting and VOIP are steadily becoming some of the most used devices in online education. On the other hand, programs such as Flash, which have been used quite frequently, are almost always being improved for better efficiency.

Online learning consistently requires students and professors to exchange e-mail addresses. This action, which is regularly used in online courses today, is helping student’s complete assignments. By doing so, professional relationships can occur which substitute ordinary in-class discussions. In many cases, instructors also create websites and discussion forums to assist in class discussions. Consequently, this is a huge improvement, as old methods require students to send snail mail to their professors.
Learning through Web Applications
As a central form of online education, regular applications such as Flash and JavaScript are used in most online classrooms. As a result, students have a chance to take exams by filling out forms.
